Roller Press, Briquetting
In a large family of briquetting presses, roller press stands out for its versatility. With this machine, you can briquette almost any fine and bulk materials. The simplicity and reliability of its design, high performance and low power consumption are the qualitative characteristics of the roller press, allowing it to take its rightful place among the other types of briquette equipment.
The process of forming briquettes occurs between rotating rollers towards each other, which bands are secured to the cells on the surface. The cells are half-mold bricks, between which feed pellets from the hopper charge form. The rollers are driven by an electric motor via a reduction gear, which creates a large torque. All these components are placed on the frame. Often, if it is necessary to improve the performance of the press, the quality and density of briquettes, screw pre-press is placed above the hopper. It is responsible for the uniformity of feeding and pre-compaction of raw materials supplied to the pressing zone.
With all these benefits, there is one condition about the represented briquetting presses of this technology. It is a necessity to add such components, which function as a binder (glue) in future briquettes in the preparation of raw mix. This requires additional costs and sometimes degrade the performance of preform product, such as when using non-combustible binders in fuel briquettes.
Choosing the right binding additive, compliance proportions and thorough mixing while preparation of raw mix, guarantee manufacturer a quality briquette production.

The overall dimensions of the units may vary depending on the design.
* - productivity depends on the density of the material (peat-500kg/m3, hard coal - 1500 kg/m3) . The swath width in the table is indicated taking into account the use of a cell with dimensions of 50x50x25.
It is also possible to manufacture rolls with cells of any shape and size: 65x50x30, 45x45x22, 38x38x22, etc.
